Silverman is an Americana and country artist from Hermosa Beach, California, whose music is rooted in honest storytelling and shaped by the real-life experiences, relationships, and moments that have defined his journey. Having discovered a passion for songwriting in his early twenties, he has dedicated himself to creating songs that explore love, loss, heartbreak and the simple moments in life that are meant to be appreciated.
His musical foundation began at the age of 10 when he picked up his first guitar and joined award-winning choirs, experiences that remained a constant throughout his childhood. While traveling between the South Bay and San Diego, he found himself surrounded by musicians who were writing songs, releasing records, and building careers on their own terms. Seeing that path firsthand transformed music from a lifelong dream into a tangible future. Along the way, Silverman developed a deep appreciation for rock, blues, and punk before ultimately finding his home in country and Americana, where the emphasis on storytelling and emotional honesty resonated most. Guided by friends and mentors Jackson Wagner and Tony Ford, he discovered artists such as Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, and Liam St. John, influences that helped him refine his own voice as both a songwriter and performer.
The experiences that have shaped Silverman's music extend far beyond the stage. After losing his father at 18, a defining moment that continues to influence his writing- he spent time abroad in Germany, where he joined a local band through a music school and performed alongside local musicians. The experience broadened his perspective and fostered a connection to music that transcended his own community, inspiring a lifelong curiosity about people and places. Since then, he has traveled to more than 25 countries, continually performing and drawing inspiration from the cultures, relationships, and experiences that have become woven into his songwriting.
Today, Silverman is a familiar presence throughout the South Bay music scene, performing regularly at venues including the historic Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach, Fiesta Hermosa, and the California Surf Club in Redondo Beach. Alongside his live performances, he has released original music including Bonnie & Clyde, a collaboration with close friends and fellow musicians, and Heaven Bound, a deeply personal tribute to his father. As he continues to write, record, and perform independently, Silverman remains focused on crafting authentic songs that resonate with listeners and reflect the stories that continue to shape both his life and his music. He has just completed his first EP with producer JD Walker due for release in 2026.
